Pengertian Paragraf dan Jenis-Jenisnya - Paragraf merupakan sesuatu yang tidak sanggup dipisahkan dari materi Bahasa Indonesia, semua isu sanggup disampaikan melalui paragraf. Pada kesempatan ini , akan membahas topik wacana paragraf.

Secara umum paragraf bisa diartikan  sebagai rangkaian kalimat yang membentuk suatu gagasan yang utuh. Menurut Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia, paragraf yaitu serpihan bagian dalam suatu karangan (biasanya mengandung satu wangsit pokok dan penulisanya dimulai dengan garis baru).

Macam-Macam Paragraf
Paragraf dibedakan berdasarkan jenisnya, berdasarkan letak kalimat utamanya. Berdasarkan jenisnya, paragraf dibagi menjadi :
  1. Paragraf Narasi
  2. Paragraf Deskripsi
  3. Paragraf Eksposisi
  4. Paragraf Argumentasi
  5. Paragraf Persuasi
Sedangkan paragraf berdasarkan letak kalimat utamanya, dibagi menjadi :
  1. Paragraf Deduktif
  2. Paragraf Induktif
  3. Paragraf Campuran
Paragraf Narasi
Paragraf Narasi yaitu paragraf yang menceritakan sesuatu berdasarkan urutan waktu.
Ciri Paragraf Narasi berdasarkan Gorys Keraf :

  1. Menonjolkan unsur perbuatan atau tindakan
  2. Dirangkai dalam urutan waktu
  3. Berusaha menjawab pertanyaan "apa yang terjadi?"
  4. Ada konfiks
Contoh : 
     Seorang siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama berjalan dengan tergesa-gesa menuju ke sekolah. Waktu menunjukkan pukul setengah tujuh pagi, hari itu beliau sengaja berangkat pagi-pagi sekali lantaran ada jadwal piket di kelasnya. Sesampainya di sekolah ia eksklusif membersihkan kelas, ia menyapu ruang dan halaman kelasnya. Bel tanda masukpun berbunyi, kelas sudah higienis dan rapi, ia pun siap untuk mendapatkan pelajaran.

Paragraf Deskripsi
Paragraf Deskripsi yaitu paragraf yang menggambarkan objek secara mendetail, sehingga seolah-olah pembaca sanggup melihat/mendengar/merasakan secara langsung.
Ciri Paragraf Deskripsi :
  1. Menggambarkan objek secara jelas
  2. Memberi kesan seolah pembaca melihat/mendengar/merasakan secara langsung
  3. Terfokus pada objek yang diceritakan
Contoh :

Paragraf Eksposisi

     Handphone atau biasa kita sebut denga HP, bukan menjadi barang glamor lagi. Sekarang ini, semua orang mempunyai HP dari anak kecil hingga orang dewasa. Fenomoena ini menerangkan bahwa perkembangan HP semakin hari semakin pesat.

Paragraf Persuasi
Paragraf Persuasi yaitu paragraf yang bertujuan untuk mensugesti pembaca semoga melaksanakan sesuatu.
Ciri Paragraf Persuasi :
  1. Berusaha mensugesti pembaca
  2. Bersifat mengajak atau menghimbau
Contoh :
     Pilek biasanya disebabkan oleh cuaca yang tidak menentu. Penyakit ini biasanya menyerang pada ekspresi dominan pancaroba. Sebenarnya pemyakit ini sanggup  kita cegah dengan cara minum air putih 8 gelas per hari. Oleh lantaran itu mari kita budayakan minum air putih 8 gelas per hari untuk menjaga kesehatan.
